Element Church

Coronavirus

action/response

Element Family -

As Element Church leadership we wanted to let you know what we are doing to respond to the Coronavirus.

FAITH OVER FEAR

First of all, our number one priority at Element is to trust God. Jesus remains the Head of His church and His people, so we need not fear.

Jesus said He would give us peace, no matter what the circumstances. But trust does not mean lack of action and precaution - but it does mean we will seek to respond to the current situation with wisdom, humility, and faith. Of course, we honor and respect any decision that you may make regarding your attendance at our Element Worship gatherings - but, at this time, we will continue offering our regularly scheduled Worship Gatherings.

SCRIPTURES TO REMEMBER

“Do not worry [or have anxiety] about anything, but pray about everything [every circumstance and situation]...And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭AMP

"...fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Isaiah 41:10

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”   Joshua 1:9

POINTS OF PRAYER:

  1. Pray for all those affected by this: health care employees, government officials, and researchers that a vaccine is developed and the virus be contained.

  2. This is a good opportunity for speaking life, hope and sharing the Gospel of Christ!

  3. We know that we serve a great God and we have confidence in Him as our Healer & Protector.

ELEMENT CHURCH CAMPUS ACTION PLAN

What We Are Doing

For now, we want to make sure everyone knows what we are doing at our Element Church campus and Worship Center to help keep them clean:

Disinfect Touch Points

Specified individuals on our Care Teams will continue to disinfect touch points, including door handles, water fountain, countertops, and computer check-in stations, etc.

ElementKidz Areas

All of our ElementKidz areas  are disinfected regularly, including play areas and toys.

Sanitizer Stations

We are making hand sanitizer dispensers available throughout the facility.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We are committed to keeping our church campus clean, but we need your help. We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to help us keep one another safe and healthy.

Use Discretion
If you or a family member are sick, please stay home and join us on FaceBook Live for worship.

Wash Thoroughly
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. While we will be offering hand sanitizing dispensers, proper hand washing is more effective.

Limit The Spread Of Germs
Cover your sneeze or cough with your arm, or with a tissue that you then immediately dispose of.

Reduce Personal Touch

Instead of handshakes and hugs, offer waves and friendly smiles.

Let Us Know
If you or someone you know tests positive for COVID-19, please let us know so we can find a way to help, pray for everyone involved, and take any necessary precautions here at Element.

Know that your Element Church leadership are keeping a close watch on the situation and will communicate any changes as necessary.
